I had a busy weekend – firstly some good friends had free tickets for Star Quality – by Noel Coward, his last play that was being shown at The Maddermarket Theatre so after a few glasses of wine we headed to the theatre. If you haven’t been to see a play here you should as they put on some great ones with fabulous actors and this one was no exception – very funny and typical “Coward”!!

Saturday night and I was invited to the opening weekend of a new cocktail bar in Norwich so along with a few friends we headed to Be At One for our table. We were greeted by the lovely Daisy and her team – we arrived just in time for the end of happy hour so we ordered 2 of each of our chosen cocktails – I opted for a Porn Star Martini, we also tried a Martinez, Lychee Martini, Woo Woo and Rob Roy – all of our cocktails were really well mixed and according to Daisy – all the cocktail staff have 10 weeks training and have to pass various tests before they can mix!!
It is strange how places change and move on the building was once called Chicago which is the club that I first got together with my husband 20 years ago – it has a totally different look now but it was fun to reminisce!!
