When it comes to planning outfits for the coming season I always put together a “look book” of styles, trends and runway pieces I love then I take a look at what I have already got in my wardrobe and what I think I may have to invest in to give it a little update.
This Autumn saw some fabulous colours, patterns and textures so I was really excited to start planning my new season looks. So lets start with my inspiration looks from the designers and trends.
I could create so many options with pieces that I already own but I did make a couple of purchases to add to my new season up dates. All of which I have worked into some looks I will be wearing out and about in the next few months. If you are in a bit of a style rut and not quite sure how to make the most of your wardrobe don’t forget you can book my “Shop your Wardrobe” service to help you put together outfits from what you already own.
One of the lovely assistants at Sue Ryder Vintage in Bridewell Alley showed me this fabulous 3 piece Italian wool suit that she thought was “very me” how well she knows me!! I loved it and knew that I could create lots of outfit options with the waistcoat, sweater and skirt so here are 4 option that I came up with.
There are many options that I could come up with for the coming season – the fact that I love this time of year makes it easy for me to create lots of fabulous ways to wear my wardrobe but here are just a few that will be making an appearance over the next few months on my vintage adventures.
