This has been on my list of things to do as a blog post for a long time and it keeps getting pushed back but now on the first official day of Autumn which is my favourite time of year I have got my act together and am going to do it for the entire month of October. I just love the shades of this time of year – the time when you can layer up with rich fabrics like tweed and velvet, wear chunky knits over summer skirts and mix in coloured tights for some warmth.
Very often when you see capsule wardrobe posts they are various shades of beige mixed with neutrals with no pattern and colour – my style has never been that way so I want to show you how you can wear different shades together and mix patterns together.
So for the entire month of October I will be posting my outfits on a daily (hopefully if I will try and take a picture everyday – menopause moods allowing!!) I am going to try very hard not to buy anything new during the capsule wardrobe challenge but I will never say never because if that piece of fabulous vintage comes my way you sometimes have to buy it there and then as there is only one and there are some pieces that I didn’t buy that still haunt me!!
Make sure you check my Instagram feed for daily outfits posts and see if I stick to my “nothing new” goal.
