Chanel has always been an inspiration for as long as I can remember not only for her designs but her business genius, her style and the way she liberated women from the restraints of the corset.
She re-invented the way women dress, borrowed menswear from her lovers but gave it a feminine twist. Every women has something with a Chanel influence in her wardrobe from a simple row of pearls to a Breton striped T shirt, an iconic boucle jacket or a LBD.
I have a bit of a passion for Chanel inspired pieces so I have a few in the wardrobe so I thought I would put together a post on how I have styled them up.
My dream is to own a vintage Chanel jacket but I really want a Chanel Chanel which hardly ever go up for sale and when they do they run into thousands of pounds so I have built a collection of look alikes for now but you never know one day??
So here are a few of my Chanel-esque looks.
Classic white skirt & summer pastels. Add in a camellia and pearls et voila Chanel.

Pink vintage Winsmoor jacet Sue Ryder Vintage, skirt Ebay. Scarf – Chanel.
