I have always loved the classic design of Gucci with its horse-bit prints, double G logo an chain motif and when Alessandro Michele took over in 2015 I fell in love with his quirky geek chick 70s with a mix of 80s secretary – the look kind of summed me up and spoke to me in a way that not many designers have for quite a while.
So I became a bit obsessed with get the Gucci Look so found some amazing vintage and second – hand pieces to add to my wardrobe.
My favourite seasons have been from 2015 – 2018, I think he has gone a bit too far with the geek for the last couple of seasons so not loving it so much but with all runway collections it is all about the drama and the theatre and when you take each individual piece on its one then it looks very different.
Every time I go vintage shopping , wander round a charity shop or trawl through Ebay I always seem to be drawn to Gucci inspired pieces so I have a fair few items to choose for this post.
I picked out some of my favourite looks from 2015 – 2018 and styled them up with my own wardrobe.
